Reset 2FA

This guide illustrates the steps required to reset a user's 2FA token.

      1. Login to your account at https://<IP_ADDRESS>/login

           

            2. If you logged in successfully, and you're asked to enter the 2FA token, click on "Rest 2FA!"

      3. Enter your password on "Lost 2FA? 💬"  page to send a reset 2FA verification code to your email address.

      4. Enter the verification code you received on the next page

      NOTE: Example of the verification code email is shown below

      5. Scan the QR code you're presented with using Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.

PS: In version 1.4.97, the administrator can reset the 2FA for any user from the Administrative Page. (Kindly check our release notes for version 1.4.97)
